Sr. Accounting & Reporting Specialist

Functie

You will work closely together with the finance team consisting of several professionals. The team is best characterized as informal, flexible, trust worthy and aiming to collaborate together on challenging issues.

Some of your core tasks will be:

• Be the first point of contact for the external audit process and ensure a smooth and effective way of working;
• Prepare interim- and annual financial statements in accordance with the latest IFRS requirements;
• Participate in the end close and share your knowledge with your colleagues in many projects;
• Be a part of various accounting matters within the group. Look for more efficient ways to work with goodwill, intangible assets and complex IFRS issues;
• Be an inspiring team member for less experienced colleagues.

Profiel

In this role you need to be decisive, result-oriented and possess a strong sense to get to the core of complex issues. You ask the right questions but are able to listen carefully as well. You are a constructive team player able to share your knowledge. Furthermore:

• You have a relevant master degree, preferably complemented with an RA certification;
• Extensive knowledge and experience with IFRS, having applied this to international business issues;
• Willing to, incidentally, travel abroad;
• Hands-on, analytical and pro-active;
• Excellent Dutch and English language skills, both written and verbal.
