Assignment
As Senior Manager Finance Transformation – Insurance, you will help clients (insurers, pension funds, and their service providers) with their IT-enabled Finance Transformations. You will lead the young and ambitious Insurance & Pensions team within the Finance domain.
For each engagement, you will manage a team of problem-solvers with various backgrounds to help resolve complex issues in the pension and insurance sectors. You’ll also play an active role as part of the team.
- You will co-lead the development of the Insurance advisory practice—this includes acquiring new projects, strengthening relationships with insurance sector clients, and expanding the network;
- You will manage multiple projects and actively build multidisciplinary teams of passionate and expert advisors with an entrepreneurial mindset;
- You will work closely with other specialists—such as tech and data experts, actuaries, tax advisors, and legal professionals—to solve unique and complex problems in tailored project teams;
- You will support insurers in taking the next step post-IFRS 17 implementation, helping them drive end-to-end Finance Transformations to control costs, resolve data challenges, and enhance and accelerate reporting (including ESG reporting);
- You know how to translate strategy and project management into execution—“from strategy to execution.”
Profile
- You have extensive experience in a similar role within a consulting or internal advisory environment;
- You are seen as the go-to person for delivering IT-enabled Finance Transformations;
- You have a sharp eye for market trends and strong expertise in stakeholder relationship management;
- You excel at building collaboration across all levels, easily connecting with others, open to new ideas, and thrive in multidisciplinary teams;
- You are entrepreneurial and growth-driven, reflective, and open to feedback;
- You hold a completed academic degree;
- You have proven delivery and commercial experience with end-to-end Finance Transformations in the financial sector—ideally within insurance;
- Ideally, you have worked at another consulting firm, or you are a commercially oriented line professional with strong program management expertise;
- You have experience in a leadership role in project or program management and in building high-performing teams;
- You are entrepreneurial and capable of significantly growing the Finance Transformation practice within FS Consulting;
- Preferably, you possess basic IT capabilities;
- You have specialized knowledge of market trends and regulations in the financial services industry and understand their impact on organizations, processes, and systems;
- You are familiar with technological developments in the insurance sector.
