Bridgewell is a boutique executive search and interim firm, specialising in placing Finance executives and professionals with salaries starting from €80,000. Since 2006, we have completed over 1,000 successful placements and have become the specialists in finding the very best senior Financials.
We combine technical expertise, a keen eye for talent, and a network of over 55,000 carefully documented Finance candidates. This enables us to support growth, transformation, and entrepreneurship within entrepreneurial and people-focused organisations.
Bridgewell was founded in 2006 by Michiel Sintnicolaas and Paul van Vliet, both of whom have held various executive positions at international publicly listed search firms.
We strongly believe in specialisation. Organisations naturally try to fill as many vacancies as possible themselves, but when they decide to outsource a search, they rightly set very high standards for candidates. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge, we are consistently able to meet these high expectations—or advise clients on adjusting the profile when necessary. Job profiles are almost always the result of collaboration with our clients.
Thanks to our specialisation, we can see further than other firms without this focus. We consider all candidates in the market, not just those currently available. Our clients are highly diverse, and the bar is set very high. They range from family businesses and private equity firms to successful entrepreneurs, publicly listed multinationals, and not-for-profit organisations such as universities, colleges, and hospitals. Almost all of our clients operate internationally.
Bridgewell is a relationship-driven boutique. The quality of our relationships with clients, candidates, and interim managers is extremely important to us, and most of the assignments we manage are exclusive. Assignment
As a Consultant at Bridgewell, you are fully responsible from day one for your own portfolio—from business development to candidate placement. You maintain client relationships, expand your network, and proactively search for the best candidates through our database, public sources, and online marketing. You guide both candidates and clients through the entire process, from briefing to placement.
We use the best systems and have a strong (partly external) marketing team, which keeps administrative tasks minimal, allowing you to focus entirely on quality and results. At Bridgewell, you are given significant responsibility, alongside on-the-job support and training.

Profile
In our profession, there is no such thing as an “ideal profile.” Ultimately, it comes down to personality, character, and whether we click with each other.
The ideal colleague is entrepreneurial, highly communicative, results-driven, confident, curious, and has flair. You are not afraid to seize opportunities, approach clients, and engage candidates. Proven success is a plus, but curiosity and ambition are equally important.
Compensation
Besides the thrill of successfully placing the right candidate, you will receive a competitive remuneration package. Exact figures depend on your experience and knowledge. We also offer an above-average bonus scheme for “On Target Performance”: the higher your revenue, the greater your bonus, with no cap.
Hybrid and part-time working is possible at Bridgewell. We expect a minimum commitment of 4 days per week, with at least 3 days in the office.
