Assignment

Due to international growth and expansion in, among others, Germany, France and Northern Europe, the organisation is transitioning to a new operating model and an international structure. In this context, it is seeking an Interim Manager Consolidation to further professionalise the finance organisation.

As Interim Manager Consolidation, you are responsible for consolidating the financial results and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You are hands-on, maintain close contact with the organisation’s subsidiaries across multiple countries, and play a key role in providing relevant and timely financial information to support decision-making.

In addition, you will lead the implementation of the new consolidation tool and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and IFRS reporting requirements.

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial consolidation process;
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports;
  • Implement, roll out and manage the new consolidation tool Lucanet (currently Excel);
  • Set up and perform country-level sub-consolidations in collaboration with local finance directors;
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes;
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and IFRS standards;
  • Support the Group Control team with ad-hoc questions and reporting topics, such as acquisitions, impairment testing and IFRS 16;
  • Standardise and structure reporting across the organisation.

Profile

  • At least 8–10 years of experience in a similar role or at an international accounting firm; in-depth consolidation expertise is essential;
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to dive into the details;
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS in an international context;
  • Experience with ERP systems and consolidation software;
  • Strong command of Excel and other reporting tools;
  • Fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of German or French is an advantage;
  • Proactive attitude with strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
