For an innovative and entrepreneurial financial services provider located in the central region of the Netherlands, we are seeking an Interim CEO who will guide the organisation through its next phase of development and the further professionalisation of its services.
Assignment
The Interim CEO will play a key role in the continued development of a future-proof and robust governance structure.
The Interim CEO will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the organisation, its structure, and the execution thereof. This includes driving further professionalisation, establishing clear governance, and streamlining and standardising processes and systems.
The Interim CEO will create operational excellence and stimulate commercial growth. They will strengthen the organisation’s foundations and act as a key guardian of the organisational culture.
An important aspect of this role is the ability to act as a strong connector, both internally and externally, with extensive experience in stakeholder management.
Profile
- A people-centred CEO with strong communication skills
- An experienced leader and chair of the executive management team
- A strong connector across all levels of the organisation
- Courteous, patient, and calm in style
- Extensive experience within the financial services sector
- A key carrier and guardian of organisational culture
- Strategically focused, maintaining appropriate distance from day-to-day operational execution
- Formal yet pragmatic in approach
- Preferably already approved by DNB; not a commercially driven profile
- Focus is not on technical content, but sufficient affinity with products and technology is required
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management and able to build strong relationships within the executive team and with regulators and the Supervisory Board
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
