Assignment
- The newly appointed CEO will play a key role in the further development of a future-proof and robust board structure;
- The new CEO will be responsible for strategically steering the organization, its structure, and the execution thereof;
- Will ensure further professionalization, clear governance, and the streamlining and standardization of processes and systems;
- The newly appointed CEO will create operational excellence and stimulate commercial performance;
- Will strengthen the foundation of the organization and act as a key guardian of its culture;
- A critical aspect of this role is that the person must be a strong connector, both internally and externally, with extensive experience in stakeholder management.
Profile
- A people-oriented CEO with strong communication skills;
- An experienced leader and chair within the Executive Team;
- A strong connector at all levels of the organization; Courteous, patient, and calm;
- Has extensive experience in the financial sector — experience in a FinTech is a major plus;
- Possesses product/market knowledge; Acts as a key culture bearer;
- Strategic focus, maintaining distance from day-to-day operations; Formal yet pragmatic;
- Preferably already vetted by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), not a commercial profile;
- The focus is not on content, but you must have sufficient affinity with product and technology;
- Extensive experience with stakeholder management and capable of building strong relationships within the executive board, with regulators, and with the supervisory board (RvC);
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
