Treasury Trading & Services(TTS) provides efficient and cost effective cash, liquidity, currency and collateral management across Aegon and aspires to continue to be leader in relation to these activities for holding companies and business units globally.
Processing daily collateral management activities of Aegon Derivatives effectively and efficiently. Coordinate related governance and legal infrastructure of Aegon Derivatives and its internal and external counterparties. Support coordination of derivatives regulations (EMIR), legal onboarding of clearing members, clearing houses and execution brokers in addition to manage and coordinate this in line with the existing legal framework.
In this role you will report to the Head of Cash, Currency & Collateral Management.
Daily Collateral Management
Execute, coordinate and monitor the daily collateral management activities of Aegon Derivatives in compliance with business process descriptions and defined key performance indicators. Increase process efficiently where applicable and reduce operational risk errors to a minimum
Ensure reporting of activities, exposure summaries, collateral held and posted, call activities and notifications and the balances in Money Market Fund (MMF) holdings
In liaison with Group Legal and Asset Management, coordinate and implement and effective procedure in counterparty defaults, including bankruptcy, credit events upon mergers and failure to pay among others and ensure the necessary steps and actions to be taken by the non-defaulting party. , such as giving an official termination notice.
Service level agreements
Coordinate and maintain Service Level Agreements between AD, internal counterparties and suppliers to ensure all roles and responsibilities, mutual agreed services and operational work flows are in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Coordinate and take ownership of ISDA and CSA negotiations and or legal mandate structure arrangements with internal and external counterparties. Define negotiation strategy and ensure draft of relevant documentation in compliance with business objectives, internal guidelines and requirements.
Identify, monitor and analyze trends in collateral management, the derivatives regulatory landscape and translate potential impact into necessary actions.
Participate and contribute to various projects and overall support, related to treasury logistics, administrative tasks, MD&A
- Bachelor degree in business economics or similar
- Immunity to stress and a high level of accuracy is required
- Professional work and thinking level required
- Affinity with bank - treasury systems and knowledge of MS office applications
- Dynamic and taking initiative with a high level of accuracy on the output
- Effective skills in organizing, prioritizing, planning and controlling
- Team player; flexible attitude, no 9 to 5 mentality
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both in writing and verbally
