Within Data & Reporting Advisory we work specifically for financial institutions. Ask yourself: how would you inform the board of a multinational bank about their regulatory issues? Or what do you present the regulator when they come knocking on the door, asking difficult questions?
As a (Senior) Manager in Data & Reporting Advisory, you understand the challenges faced by financial institutions in the areas of data and regulatory reporting. You understand the key elements of a balance sheet of financial institutions and you are well-versed in underlying standards. Furthermore, you have the technical skills to process and transform data to meaningful reports for regulators. You are creative in presenting your findings in a way that makes sense to executives. Within projects, you work with people from various disciplines such as Finance, Risk Management, IT. You understand their lingo.
You already have work experience under your belt, which implies that you are comfortable managing your own work and can take ownership of an assignment. You focus on continuous improvement of your skillset and the quality of your work, both from yourself and from the team. You are an expert in your field. Within the team you contribute to the development of junior team members. Internally, you also have a significant content contribution in the development of proposals and other deliverables.
You have at least seven years relevant work experience. Before starting your career, you completed a university master study in preferably Accounting, (Business) Economics, Finance, Financial Economics, Business Administration or any other relevant studies. You have knowledge and experience regarding reporting standards for financial institutions toward regulators (e.g. Basel IV and Solvency II). You have a strong interest in the financial sector and the ambition to grow in this industry.
You have great analytical skills and you pay attention to detail. You are self-reliant and proactive. This means you can both work independently and reach out when in need of help. You have experience working in project teams and are eager to share your experience with the team. You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
