The purpose of the Financial Director is to ensure optimal financial
and management accounting in accordance with corporate, legal
and fiscal guidelines in order to adequately support proper
monitoring and measurement of business performance against target.

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of long-term
  strategy and business plans for our client, and support achievement
  of long term objectives
• Lead a team in the preparation of accurate internal and external
  financial accounting and reporting; collaborate with various stakeholders
  to provide accounting advice. As an exceptional finance leader you
  standardise and harmonise the financial accounting and reporting
  processes taking initiatives for improvements
• Challenge the GM on finance and other business related matters
• Drive best practices, providing a more efficient and effective
  closing proces
• Ensure a strong internal control environment
• Continuously monitor actual business performance versus targets,
  analyse deviations and prepare recommendations on corrective actions
  to be taken
• Ensure timely generation of required financial reports
• Serve as the primary contact with corporate, divisions and business unit
  contacts, effectively communicating with and pro actively managing a
  collaborative working relationship with each
• Monitor and control all tax regulations to ensure the relevance/
  optimization of the company’s tax set up
• Ensure efficient planning of currency transactions and cash flow
  management to optimise the solvency position and to minimize currency
  risks and losses

The profile of the ideal candidate:

• Masters degree in a Finance and/or Economics oriented study
• Your working background is a combination of a big four accounting
  firm and an international corporate environment, preferably a consumer
  industrial company
• Preferably experience gained within a production environment
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills verbal and in writing; Fluent in English
• A high drive and energy level
• Pro-active, flexible and hands-on mentality
• High level of organizational sensitivity and you are able to see things from
  the perspective of various, different stakeholders
• A dedicated professional as well as a team player with proven ability to deliver
  high quality results in a high-pressure environment
