Corporate Finance & Accounting supports the management of
the Sector, its Businesses and the organizations at large, with
financial management information and supplies this information
to the Headquarter.

The main responsibilities of Director External Reporting cover;

• The deployment of new and updated accounting policies of
  the Group into the devision
• Maintain an up to date and harmonized set of accounting policies
  for the division at large
• Business partner in more complex accounting matters in areas like
  TP&S, PPA and FV accounting
   

Key Activities

• Reports into the division Controller
• The deployment of new and updated accounting policies
• Monitor and support in uniform interpretation and application
  of the Accounting Policies to ensure consistency in internal and
  external reporting and to safeguard their interests in case of
  reviews by regulatory agencies (eg. SEC)
• To provide input to and support in the development and maintenance
  of their Accounting Manual and Finance
• Directives with the objective of having an as efficient and easy to apply
  as possible framework of accounting principles
• Maintain an up to date and harmonized set of accounting policies
  and finance directives –all with clear scope, owners and an unambiguous
  description of policy application
• (Proactively) business partner in more complex accounting matters in areas
  like TP&S, PPA and FV accounting
• Developing and / or updating accounting policies and finance directives
  and preparing related instructions on the basis of external developments
  (new standards) and internal business requirements
• Provide training courses for finance staff on complex accounting issues
  and new policies and directives
• Monitor and understand current and future changes / trends in IFRS and
  (proactively) assess the impact on
• To provide management with information that can be used in their
  decision making processes
• Advising reporting units on the application and interpretation of
  accounting policies
• Participating in working groups dealing with complex accounting matters

We are looking for a highly engaged / domain expert in especially IFRS.
You are a creative thinker and your sharpness allows you to act as a
business partner. You think rather in terms of solutions than in terms
of problems. You can communicate on all terms of seniority.

• University degree in Business Administration combined with a
  RA / CPA certification
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, international experience
  and background in accountancy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively
  from a global perspective
• Team player with a corporative approach towards getting “things done”
  rather than a policing one
• In depth IFRS knowledge with sufficient business acumen allowing to
  think in “accounting solutions”
